How Much do you charge and how can I pay?

I do not have a fixed price due to the variety of venues, function type, time and date of function etc. A deposit will secure the booking. The Balance payable 14 days before the function. A cheque is the best method of payment as this can be traced by the bank, the legal system and for your peace of mind. In all cases I will supply a receipt and a contract for your function.

 

What type of music will you play and can we make requests?

Absolutely, I welcome requests both before and during the function as this gives me a good idea of your guests taste in music. However, I may not always entertain requests which are inappropriate as this can spoil the evening for your guests. The music selection will actually take place at the function as I can play for your guests rather than from a preselected setlist as used by many laptop dj's.

 

How loud will it be?

This is entirely up to you, your venue and guests. Volume levels are kept appropriate for the function and can make adjustments should it be required. Earplugs definitely not required. 

 

What equipment do you use and what happens if it fails?

All my equipment is of professional level, fit for purpose, PAT tested annually and visually checked before packing for the event. However should any equipment fail, I not only have back-up cd players, mixer, amps etc, it is part of my set up so can be up and running in minutes.

 

How long does it take to set up?

This can depend on access to setup area, level of equipment required and any special requirements for the function.

 

What equipment will you use?

This will be determined by the venue and type of function. Smaller venues will not require a large P.A. or lighting setup and can look ugly if overdone as would a P.A. and lighting setup which is not large enough to comfortably cover the venue/function be can sound strained and look boring and and unenspired.
