Can we Speak before the function?

Of course. in fact I prefer to have an informal chat to clear up all the details for the function so you know exactly what you will get and I have an itinerary of events. I will normally contact both the booking party and the Venue to confirm no further changes have taken place for your function a week before the event.

 

What will you wear?

I will dress according to the function. As a general rule of thumb I will dress in suit and ties unless asked otherwise.

 

Will you play longer than we booked?

I will do whatever I can to make your event a success. However, the venue may have licence restrictions which may have to be observed.

 

Where are you and how far will you travel?

I am based in Hastings, East Sussex but will travel nationwide.

 

Is it safe?

I will do a risk assessment of the area I will be set up in and only use equipment suitable for the venue

NOTE; I do not use bubble machines as it makes the dance area slippery and can mark leather clothing/furniture. I do not use strobe lights on medical grounds.

The equipment has a "portable appliance test" done annually (A requirement for many venues) and is checked during packing before each Function.

 

Are you Insured?

Yes. There is £2million public liability Insurance, £10k personal insurance and all the equipment is comprehensively insured.
